I was born in the heart of Rome, Italy on September 17, 1954.
I remember a pleasant childhood and adolescence with my family. It was the years of economic boom and future looked pink. My father, a lawyer , assured us a middle upper class education and lifestyle.
At 23 I got a degree of doctor in engineering and started to work.
Since very young I was very curious and my dream was to discover the world. Very early started to travel. During University I visited several countries in Europe for holidays or with some exchange of students and spent a full summer in Egypt.
When I started to work soon I looked for assignments abroad and my carrier developed as a globe trotter. I worked based in Nigeria, US, Mexico, China, Switzerland, Singapore, Argentina, Turkey and visited tens of other Countries. Now I’m writing from Istanbul where I live since April 2005.
